In this journal, the author explains how the harsh judgements of sexuality are not only from men, but women as well. This journal illustrates how women may judge class from a woman’s sexuality. The race of the woman further distinguishes, what is perceived as her natural characteristics. This words such as nice, lovely, etc… apply to white women and insinuate that black women are the opposite by nature. This all indicates a hierarchy within the sex created by each group. Further, this shows how even marginalized groups, adhere to the hierarchy of status, because it allows them to be superior.
