Different officer’s generations have expressed freedom of speech in a more radical way. Social control is needed for officers to protect society. Incidents of terrorism such bombings threats can arise police are informed and trained to address such situations. Law enforcement officers are under high situations. This year alone police officers managed to arrest “120 arrest in Ferguson.” Many businesses were destroyed and looted. Polices once again came heroically to manage the chaos in Ferguson, Missouri. Community type policing
Public awareness is key for citizens to understand crime. Law enforcement has continued to integrate neighborhood watches. Residents know their neighborhood than police officers. The relationship between officers and community strengthen and build trust. Citizen’s academies are where everyday citizens are allowed to gain a perspective of a typical day as a law enforcement officer. Encouragement from the public gains a better cooperation with a public. Police in community is a more settle approach to law enforcement.
B. Predictive policing
Technology has advanced in society. Predictive policing in society has taken the knowledge of demographic trends. Furthermore, the research showed a preventive approach put a hold of future crimes to arise. Geospatial policing can occur if there is a one incident surrounding areas pose as a threat to control possible threats. The officers have gained a new research findings the suitable tactic for different regions and outcomes of the research.
