Lately there has been a lot of protests popping up throughout the media due to NFL player Colin Kaepernick sitting during the National Anthem prior to the start of an NFL preseason game. This was an act of protesting that occurred during the fall of 2016 to fight against police brutality on African Americans, on the other hand it was not taken in such a sense and offended many people such as veterans, commentators, as well as many fans. Of course, there is a whole different end of the spectrum that there was no offense taken and left with the thought that other people are just being preposterous.
