In this institutional aspect men and women are equal because there is around the same amount for each gender, taking into consideration the sports. However, the physical act of sports is a different story. Men are viewed as extremely superior with athletics even though the college tries to get rid of that by making women superior in their own way. For example, Springfield college offers a numerous amount of intramural sports. There is indeed a requirement for them in order to attempt to make everyone feel equal.
