The Gospel of Mark records the main events of the life and teachings of Jesus, which kind furnished evidence to support the belief that Jesus was the true Messiah; by believing in Jesus, people could obtain salvation. First, he predicted the destruction of Jerusalem in ‘Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. ’ (Barclay, 1975, 13:8).
