First all administrators and staff members have to buy into the idea that greatness can be achieved in and out of the school setting. The idea that inspirational teaching and learning can be achieved is hard to sell at first, but with dedication, the ideal will spread through the school. Each student will react differently to a style of education that is different from any other approach the child has encountered.
There are many programs dedicated to achieving greatness and many have been set into action in schools, but many have never been adopted. Some programs where complex and hard to follow and others are too simplistic. There are things that can be done to assist in obtaining a positive culture in the school setting. The administrator has to believe in the idea that greatness can be achieved (Firmin, 2010). The administrator must believe in their teachers and the students, while challenging the school to strive for higher levels of competence. The administrator needs to give everyone the opportunity to improve themselves, while maintaining benchmarks for improvement. The administrator has to be genuine with the teachers and students so the importance in conveyed correctly and in a way that builds confidence in the program.
