In the case of Shakespeare's play "Hamlet", hamlet was trying to avenge his uncle because of the death of his father. In the process of his revenge, he murders Polonius accidentally. Ophelia, his lover, goes insane and also dies. Many people argue the she took her life, but nobody knows for sure. Laertes, son of Polonius also dies trying to avenge the death of his father. The other of Hamlet which was the queen also dies by drinking from the poison that was meant for Hamlet. Hamlet and his uncle die too. At the end, Hamlet reaches his goal; he killed his uncle. Four innocent people had to die, before Hamlet could reach his goal. Thinking of the number of innocent people that died, the revenge was not worth it, but in my opinion, it was well
