Some were strong in body but others were strong at heart and mind. Two men, Ernie Feld and Werner Klemke saved hundreds of jews. Today, they show us that everyone can be a hero, but some people do so in different ways. Both of these people were saviors in their time but they became heroes in different ways.

Ernie Feld saved many people. When he enlisted the help of a jew, they would be saved from a brutal death in a concentration camp. In the same way, Werner Klempe saved many jews from most likely brutal deaths in concentration camps. Both of these men saved people from almost certain death

There are many similarities between the character in my holocaust novel and my resilient hero novel. In my holocaust novel, my character faces many challenges, she was living in the time of the holocaust, which was a very bad time for jews. Both of the characters in my novel study (Ender’s Game) and (Number The Stars) took very different paths to display heroic actions, one path being he actually had to work to be a hero by helping other people. The other path being that she never gave up on herself and always believed through all the criticism and anti semitic people that were trying to kill every jew in the world that she could make it through the holocaust and that it will eventually end.…

Throughout this class, and other history classes I have taken, there has always been little to no mention of women and the specific roles they have played in the Holocaust compared to the plethora of information about men. For this paper, I am going to compare three different stories about the experiences of women during the Third Reich and the Holocaust. Each woman comes from a different background faced varying degrees of misfortune and terror throughout their lives in Nazi Germany. The first woman, Ilse Landau, was a Jew who went into hiding during the war. Second is Marta Hessler, who was neither a Jew or a Nazi, just an ordinary German citizen who knew little about the mass murder.…

Throughout the Holocaust there has been a struggle to survive and all the Jews could do is endure and persevere the waves of death surrounding them if they ever wanted to make it out alive. One primary example is in Schindler’s List where Mrs. Nussbaum, trying to make the best of the situation just like all the other Jews forced into the ghetto, tells her husband their ghetto apartment could be worse. In “Schindler’s List”, she could’ve cried and felt hopeless but she persevered through the situation and at the end of the movie very well survived through determination and her unbroken spirit. Another example in “Night” is, "We had already lived through so much that night, we thought nothing could frighten us any more. But his clipped words made us tremble.…

They are born out of circumstances and rise to the occasion when their spirit can no longer coexist with the hypocrisy injustice to others.” However not everyone can be a hero.
