By following these prescriptions our hospitals play an important role in helping patients to have access to healthy food and decrease disease like cholesterols, heart disease etc. With two-thirds of American adults either obese or overweight, wellness programs can both improve the health of their own employees. We can offer financial programs for those that not have health insurance so they can afford the healthy prescription programs. This is a great start to introduce a healthy lifestyle in our community and step by step we can encourage more people each day to change their habits.
