HR function and organisation strategy
Our organisation strategy is to be the care provider of choice in the South of England by delivering outstanding, high quality and life changing services. To achieve this our aim is to support and develop our staff so they can offer the best service to people, who use the Trust. At the moment HR Department supports line management in dealing with performance and absence management issues and cases, where home managers are thought how to encourage and involve employees in their job. Line manager learn how to apply HR Policies in practice and how to build satisfying relationship with employees.
HR Practitioners advise managers in the employment law matters. In recent situation of closure a couple of our dementia services, senior and line manager were supported by HR advisor in redundancy process and by recruitment team by re-deployment processes.
Furthermore to improve employees’ performance and enhance the level of satisfaction with the job HR Department supports line managers in applying different well-being activities. These activities are monitored by Well-being Coordinator, who sits with HR Team. Well-being of our employees is ensured by occupational health referral, sickness and absence monitoring. HR Practitioner meets and trains line-manager in subject of health awareness.
