When a gambling dispute became violent, several of the suspects inside the establishment shot 10 people. The shooting took place inside of a Greenville bar 60 miles southwest of Atlanta. Investigators of criminal law have made no arrests, but the Meriwether County Sheriff Chuck Smith vowed to shutdown the bar. Recent studies have emerged about a degenerative brain disorder called chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), and have linked the disorder to football, causing for questions to arise on whether or not football is safe.
