I find your post informative, and direct for those to gain a better understanding of what Fracking is. Until I read your post I had no knowledge of what fracking is and what it does to our environment. As you mentioned, "fracking is a hot topic for groundwater contamination as gas rises from the lower rock level up through the water.." According to Shukman (2013), " the industry suggests pollution incidents are the results of bad practice, rather than an inherently risky technique." Any ounce of contamination in water is detrimental to humans which doesn't help to produce clean water, to the marine life and how they coexist in the water, and other various sources.
