Unfortunately, the news that Juliet wasn’t actually dead never reached Romeo, and he then decides to kill himself. Later, roused from her deep sleep Juliet sees Romeo’s dead body and says, “Yea, noise? Then I’ll be brief. O happy dagger, this is thy sheath. There rust and let me die.” (V.ii.182-183). Juliet then, stabs herself with a dagger and dies. The demise of Romeo and Juliet was out of their own control and the responsibility of their deaths was solely in the hands of fate. In conclusion, everything that happened in the play Romeo and Juliet was all a part of fate’s plan.
