Theme Of Education In Animal Farm

Education is an art of passing the knowledge and skills which includes traditions and beliefs from generation to generation. Is it true that there is a good education and bad education? Generally, in this world, people are introduced to two concepts and these are the good and bad. The truth is that goodness or badness of education will depend on how people interconnect themselves to its values. In the story, Animal Farm (George Orwell), the role of education is a crucial theme. There is a different basis of applying education in the setting of the storyline. First education is use as a tool of killing the oppression from humanity. Secondly, education is used to establish them through stratifying their different capacities. Finally, education is use as a tool of oppression. These are the ways where animals misused the beauty of work in education. Not all the knowledge that someone absorbed is real and can benefit others. In this story, Snowball was the leader who lives out the education that Old Major left in the animal community, but he becomes overpowered by the other leader named Napoleon who embezzle the beauty of learning inside the farm. Having such wisdom often leads into creating a monster inside the body by using the art of education and use it to superior other animals that result in deceptions. Education and wisdom give the opportunity to deceive others and to enjoy the power that they can manipulate other animals who are illiterate and ignorant.
