The researcher believes that the results of the study will identify community health worker intervention as a successful intervention in addressing the disparity of trust in the healthcare system in the African American patient population. It is expected that reported trust and utilization of the preventative services will increase after intervention compared to the baseline utilization measurements. The researcher also believes that the study will show a statistically significant association between reported trust and utilization of health services as previously demonstrated in other studies.
