When society defines inspiration it is commonly associated with world leaders and
people who changed the world for the better. This makes it seem impossible to believe that any
everyday person can be an inspiration. Yet that one close friend or mentor seems to have a much
larger impact on us than any of those famous characters. I believe that everyone has a Clarisse
inside of them, but that society has made it so hard to imagine that we can make a difference. In
my life, I have found a person who expresses their inner Clarisse and brightens my life. This man
is my best friend and boyfriend Justin. Justin is my Clarisse because he shows me who and what
I can really be.

Someone can not be deemed inspirational unless they are going out of their comfort zone to
change someone's life. Clarisse knew that her behavior was odd and that she could even die from
it, but she chose to inspire Montag which led to something even greater then she could have
imagined.
Honesty is one of the admirable qualities Justin acquires that makes him an
inspiration. When someone is inspirational they stand out and this is because they are being
honest and expressing themselves and their beliefs. Justin has always been an open book never
swaying from his morals even if it was the easier thing to do. Since Justin is so honest, I can trust
him and understand that to be successful and impact others honesty is required. Justin has shown
his honesty in countless occasions, but the more memorable times occur when he and I discuss
ways in which we think each of us needs to improve ranging from the simplest things to other
things we do not want to hear. By doing so, Justin and I grow as individuals and as a couple.
