Buck lived in a house in a big small town in Santa Clara Valley. But Buck on the other hand to call it Judge Miller’s place, and with all the dogs there Buck was the ruler dog, the leader of the pack and to protect the family.
Buck was the leader of the pack and then one day Judge Miller’s gardener Manuel traded Buck for some money to play Chinese Lottery. But Buck thought that he was just going for a walk and when he traded him Buck had a rope strangled on his neck to get him into car and because Buck can’t read the newspapers he didn’t know that this tragic thing was coming to him.
