The title of the book I read for my essay was The Rogue Knight by Brandon Mull. This book is the second book in the series that continues from the first book, Sky Raiders. Brandon Mull is the author of many other bestseller books such as The Five Kingdoms series and the Fablehaven series. This book’s genre is fantasy and action because it has unrealistic magic like witchcraft and shaping. There is always action in this book and it makes me want to keep reading.
There are many characters in this book that helped Mira, a princess, find her sister, Honor. Mira is a princess that had her powers stolen by her father the High King. She is determined to save her sisters and together defeat her father and rule the Five Kingdoms. Cole, Jace, and Twitch

They end up getting caught by their recent slave owner and they bargained their way out of being sent back to slavery. They heard about Morgassa the monster that was rampaging through towns and stealing peoples’ souls. Mira and her friends found their way to Trillian, a powerful being held in a special prison, to seek help on finding Mira’s sister and stopping Morgassa before she destroyed Elloweer, the largest city in the Five Kingdoms. Trillian tested them to see if they were worthy and guided them to the Grand Shaper of Elloweer. Honor was held captive in a prison in Elloweer. Together, they make their way to the prison and freed Honor. They found Honor with her powers stripped from her and went to the Rogue Knight to retrieve her power. The Rogue Knight refused to give her power back for he had enjoyed being powerful. Because not much time was left to stop the Monster, Mira and the Rogue Knight decided to fight the monster together and decide on the other matters later. Together they found Morgassa before she destroyed Elloweer and killed her. Together, Mira, The Rogue Knight, and their friends defeated Morgassa. The Rogue Knight realized that the power he held was rightfully Honor's and he returned the power to her. Without Morgassa in the way, Mira and her friends continued to look for the lost sisters around the Five
