Doctor Cargraves assumes that the saboteur only had time to wire up one of the bombs. Ross comes outside, and he says that he took off the bandage this morning, but everything was all fuzzy and he saw it double and triple. But the light hurt his eyes, so he put the bandage back on. Doctor Cargraves says that he changed his mind last night and that they’re still going to the moon. Ross is very happy, but Doctor Cargraves says to let the others get some sleep before he wakes them up. They test drive the Galileo. Then they agree that they should start packing and leave in the night the next day, and for Art to call all the reporters in. At five in the morning they prepare for takeoff in the Galileo. Suddenly, a man comes up with a court order saying that they cannot blast off the ship, but Doctor Cargraves realizes that this is a federal territory and that the man must be fake. So they blast off at 6:01 AM. They land on the moon two days later, at 8:34. They put on their spacesuits and go outside and look at the sky, which is very beautiful. They explore in pairs, but when suddenly Morrie yells something about finding bare bones, then collapses. Doctor Cargraves picks him and runs back to the port. He realizes that his body was starved for oxygen, and feeds him oxygen from his suit. He revives, and says that he had picked up a piece of metal with a hole in it, but then suddenly a bald man had stepped out of the shadows. Doctor Cargraves cut him off there by saying that he must have had anoxia dreams. Doctor Cargraves asks Art to rig up the suits so that it wouldn’t let you turn the oxygen to such a low level, as what he assumed happened with Morrie. Art, Ross, and Doctor Cargraves go to the top of the hill where Morrie saw the men. They go there, but find neither metal nor men. They go back, and Doctor Cargraves
