The Roaring Twenties best known for a time of change because of prosperity and the major changes in the society. One of the reasons for this change was because of the stock market that led to people becoming rich. Then on October 24, 1929 the stock market began to crash which ended up leading to the Great Depression. To begin with , on August 1929 production had declined and unemployment rate has risen leading to stocks having more value than they really were. People were struggling with money since their job didn't give them much. They had low wages so if they had any stocks they had to sell to acquire money so they could at least have some money to live.
