In all of the stories they have one thing in common,it is courage. They get their courage by family making one choice that was wrong once and doing a kind thing that someone did good you in your life.
In doing the right thing the characters get their courage by their families. They were trying to buy something but no one was there so instead of stealing it, they were honest and payed for it themselves even tax! We know that they did it for their families because in the text it says “ For biondi it was his mother for gilmore it was his family who now called him “honest abe.” For james it was his father.” this shows that they all had family members to give them courage and make their family members proud. Also in the text it says “i want to make him proud of me. I don't want him to look at me as a waste of time.”

In the poem it says “And sorry I could not travel both” shows that he wants to take both both of the paths. The paths might represent the choices he has made it the decisions and he took the easy one (the path that was taken) could be lying and the one less traveled by might be the truth and it might be hard for him to choose to lie or to be truthful.

The quote that changed my outlook on the world was that of Robert Frost’s The Road Not Taken and the quote goes “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.” it made me realize that sometimes being different and not following everybody else can lead you to unexpected success. This quote changed me because I used to be a follower and not my own person and someone who didn't make their own choices and decisions but now I've changed into a new person who does what she wants even if it is something daring or different that doesn't always seem the most popular. This quote changed my outlook on the world also noticing how lots of people do this repetitive following and copying others…

While most poets tend to disguise themselves in their stories, Frost uses literary elements such as structure, diction and most of all symbolism to portray themes strictly relating to his own personal life. Referred to by many as the greatest poet of the twentieth century, Frost was undoubtedly inspired by the experiences and emotions encountered in his everyday life. He would take an ordinary event from any typical day and incorporate that experience into his own particular writing style. Frost’s poems primarily take place in nature, integrating sense-appealing…
