We tend to ignore our problems thinking we can overcome them. This is a point brought up in an excerpt from the book The Road Less Traveled by M. Scott Peck M.D. The author states that everyone is guilty of complaining, even if we don't realize it, “Most do not fully see this truth that life is difficult. Instead they moan more or less incessantly, noisily or subtly, about the enormity of their problems, their burdens, and their difficulties as if life were generally easy, as if life should be easy.” Life is a challenge, but turning away won't help you.
