Why I Want To Be An Automobile Mechanic Essay

Automobile Mechanics Some say Automobile Mechanics are a dirty, greasy job, well I say man up. I’ve been interested in this job ever since my mother’s truck started having engine problems. I have had dreams of old vehicles and the beauty they could show for all my life. I have always wanted to take apart engines and the electronic technology of automobiles and finding and fixing the probnic. I find the job might have its ups and downs as all jobs do. It is a dream that I have had for a long time and there isn’t anything going to stand in my way of doing that job. I am self motivated, determined, and a hard worker to do the job that an Automobile Mechanic. This is a job that is fun but yet serious, I know that what I said contradicts itself. What I mean is that working on cars and learning cars inside out would be fun but you would have to be serious with working on the vehicle because one accident, one mistake and everything is lost, meaning your job, you life would be gone. My challenges I will face with my mechanic career would be actually fixing the problem of the vehicle. They inspect and lubricate engines and fix, repair, rebuild, and troubleshoot engines of vehicles. To begin, Automobile Mechanics work with power, machine, and hand tools which include jacks , hoists, and welding and flame-cutting equipment. They deal with very flammable liquids such as ethanol, methane, or bio-diesel. They also may install or repair accessories, such as heaters, wipers, and stereo systems (“Task List” 1). I understand the risks and responsibilities of being an Automobile Mechanic. The biggest difficulty is making sure that everything is correct and fixed so the problem won’t reappear
