Yes, a fertilized egg is a person. Everyone was a fertilized egg at some point. We all start there, and it if we were not to kill the egg , the egg could get somewhere too. Some people argue that it is not a person until it is in human form or until it has a heartbeat, so what about all them people that are in comas are they not “human” ? And also how could we define “human”? I believe that a human is someone with reason, a heart, oxygen and movement. A fertilized egg has movement and oxygen. Personhood is very difficult to describe or to put definiton on it. A fertilized egg has the same rights as we do, it has a right to live like we do.
