TOPIC:- BUILDING THE BRIDGES BETWEEN THE NOBLES AND THE LESS PRIVILEGES
TEXT:- ACTS 4:32-37; MATTEW 25:31-46
INTRODUCTION
There is a saying that the rich is a friend to the rich. While the poor is a B to the poor. This statement is further expanded under social stratification in sociology wherein you have the upper class, middle class and the lower class. However, it appears that the middle class is non existing and the divide is now between the upper class and the lower class. This also could be regarded as the 'haves' and the 'have nots'. LESS PRIVILEGE(S):- The word itself conveys the meaning as it is indicative of people without opportunity of some benefits in life. Samuel W. Kunhiyop (2008:143), in his book titled, African Christian Ethics, made reference to people who were dependent on others for their livelihood to include the poor, orphans, strangers and widows. These set of people could be regarded as less privileges. Besides, Christopher Priscilla in her article titled " Helping the Less Privileges in the Society" gave a description of who the less privileges …show more content…
(ii) Diligence:- The bible says, sees thou a man diligent in his work, he shall stand before kings and not mere men (Pro. 22:29 paraphrased)
