As the Revolutionary war faded in Bella’s memory, another image filled her mind. The smell was one they remembered from their adventures during the Revolutionary war. It was gunpowder! “Not another war”, was all Bella could think. As Bella looked down, she saw that she were dressed in a union uniform. Bella, was not shocked nor anxious, but thrilled to be back in a place like this once again, she wondered to herself “why am I back in a battlefield? Why am I wearing a men’s uniform?” Bella, quickly got knocked from her haze, and ran for cover as cannon balls were streaming toward her. When she took cover, she saw a soldier and ran quickly over to him. Bella approached the solider and asked “what is going on!!, where are we?!” He shouted back at her “WE ARE GETTING ATTACKED!! TAKE COVER!” The building burst into flames and she fainted.

The second, fought in Fredericksburg, was very horrifying with many deaths. And the third, the battle of Chancellorsville, where the union were defeated by a small confederate army, “only because of lee’s good war tactics” Bella is jumping up in down in her mind. When the month of May rolled around “Stonewall” Jackson died from his wounds. Then came the battle of Gettysburg the turning point of the war. Bella, was a master of war now able to shoot and hide for cover, everyone still called her “Rob” and never found out her gender. The union defeated the confederates and Bella was so numb to the war she had no emotion toward
