Revenue model used by Adidas

There are few types of revenue model that can be used to gain a company’s revenue. Adidas Malaysia had applied 3 types of revenue model in order to increase their sales and revenue. These revenue model are Sales, Advertising and Affiliate.

Adidas had put a lot of effort in order to increase their revenue though eCommerce. So, they have their own strategy to make it success in eCommerce. Their strategy is “The success of our eCommerce strategy rests on our ability to attract, convert and retain the consumer in a highly competitive marketplace. Adidas having its own company website to promote and introduce their products. Their official website which used in Malaysia is http://www.adidas.com.my. All of the new product and promotion will be showing in the website. They invite celebrities and athletes to help promote their product. In the website, the pictures of famous football players and football teams has been used when they are using Adidas products.

Other than that, Adidas Malaysia also use social network to advertise their product. For example, in Facebook, Adidas will having the pictures and information of their product on the advertisement banner at the site of the webpage.

As we know, Adidas is the main company of the Adidas-group, it also consists of 3 affiliates that produce different type of product to fulfill the consumer’s need. The 3 affiliates are Reebok, Rockport and TaylorMade. a) Reebok
