How have you best used the Net/Web in doing school and work related activities?
I have used the Internet for several years to help increase my knowledge about many different subjects. In school, I used it to research information covering subjects from geography to music, psychology, teaching, and more. The information on the Internet has helped me obtain greater insight about the world in which we live. Further, it has been a source for helping me to save money in acquiring all types of products and services for work and school, many of which were also useful for personal pursuits. For example, research I conducted for how to make presentations for work also helped me with preparing and presenting topics for teaching various classes in Bible School.

Google. Why? Google has proven time after time, that they have truly mastered the art of finding and retrieving information better than any other search engine I have tried. And, they seem to retrieve it faster than any other search engine.
What searching strategies and Boolean Search Strategies have yielded the best search results for you?
Personally, I prefer using brackets, quotation marks, and the + sign. When using these Boolean operators, the information returned will be more specific and relevant. Without Boolean operators, the search results are much too large and much of the information is not relevant.

Amusingly, I had forgotten about the built-in advanced search features that are available in Google. Those features are very helpful and you don’t have to remember or type the various signs. Just type in “the important words”, and google will put it in the right format for
