When you think of sharks you may automatically think the movie jaws. This movie made sharks look like they were man eating machines but, after this movie came out people went to go hunt for sharks and kill them. The man who wrote the book jaws peter bently felt horrible about this and devoted the rest of his life to help sharks. When you think of hawaii you may think paradise and sharks attacks. This may be due to shark week on national geographic where they show victims from shark attacks. One of the places that the victiums have been attacked was in hawaii But, shark attacks are really rare. But shark attacks are really rare: "more people die from drowning every day in this country than were killed by sharks in 10 years" (Burgess, par. 3).
