I am quite ambivalent when it comes to the syrian refugees and immigration in general. The United States is our land, but we are the land of the free. That is why so many immigrants are fleeing here, because some want to make something of themselves. But, with that being said, some immigrants have a depravity that makes them feel as if they deserve to be given a job or a home. Which in my opinion, is hackneyed and wrong; however, they should be given opportunities to display that it’s plausible for them to contribute to society. If they go through the process of becoming a citizen and they learn english and go to school, I feel that they should be given the same rights and kudos as me or any other person in the US.
