Celaena Sardothien, the renown Adarlan’s Assassin, also known as Aelin Ashryver Galathynius, the lost queen of Terrasen. She not only became the King’s Champion, but also survived laboring in the death camp, Endovier. Sardothien’s character is independent, sharp, strong, and completely fictional, of course. However, in my mind, her fantastical story of hardship and conquer roge on. Which is why, on a Saturday at 5 p.m just a week before my junior year in high school started, I begged my parents to take me to the book signing of Sarah J. Maas, the creator of Celaena, at a Barnes & Noble not too far from my home. After a lot of persistent begging, they finally gave in, started the car and drove me all the way to the mall.
