Essay On Renaissance Festival

Life must have been irrational back in early Europe. Slap happy, drunken, and crazed people was all there was back then. The only rational people were the King and Queen, and any other royalty. A lot of stuff has changed since the medieval times in Europe, and to experience it was extraordinary. At some point time I had learned about the medieval times and what it was like, but never really experienced it. What exactly is the Renaissance Festival? I found this to be a reoccurring thought on the opening day as my family and I arrived at the Festival. The Renaissance Festival is a unique festival that takes place in the United States of America. Most of the time they are non-permanent set ups that are only around for a period of time. They recreate the felling of what it would have been like to live during the Elizabethan Era or the medieval times. The one particularly located in Ohio can be found at, 10542 East State Route 73, Waynesville, OH. It is in the middle of nowhere. The point not only to recreate history but also to get the family together for some fun. It was meant to be enjoyed with other people not by alone. They even sell buy three get one free tickets. Would I go again? Probably. I see it as something I do maybe once or twice every so often. I do not think I would find myself there every year though. It was a great place to be though the workers were great they really played their parts well. They brought it all to life. At the Festival there are people that do really get into it the play the part and dress up. It is almost like comic con for medieval times. I think the next time I go back will be with my family. Most likely on a non-busy weekend when want to get out of the house. It would be fun to go back to the Renaissance Festival someday, until then I will live in the twenty first
