Santeria, meaning the way of the saints, is a religion developed by the Africans in Cuba that came from Nigeria or Benin as slaves the religion was hidden for decades. The religion used to be an uneducated and poor now in the present it is wealthy. Later in the years it spread throughout the Caribbean and other countries as well as the United States. This religion is a mixture of Yoruba and Catholicism which encourages relationships with spirits specifically Orishas or gods which helps them in their daily routines.
There are more than 30 orishas Olodumare, Eleggua, Yemaya, Obatala, Oshun, Shango are the main six orishas of this religion. Olodumare is the supreme god also created the world with the natural beauties. Eleggua is a mischievous
