Question 1: When it comes to reviewing the reliability of reading intervention studies treatment validity plays a major role. Treatment validity is considered to be the strategies that are used to observe and increase the accuracy and consistency of the intervention study being conducted. These strategies are critical in allowing the authors and other academic scholars to interpret and make generalizations about the data they have collected from their research. If an author develops a treatment plan for a certain type of students, treatment validity will be used to make sure that the instructors who are implementing the designed treatment plan are doing what they are supposed to do. A report on treatment validity will tell the reader if everything in the treatment plan was conducted accurately and efficiently. It can be considered a measure of accountability for everyone involved in the study. Aside from the students greatest strength the ability strongly perfom on listening comprehension tasks there are other areas where the student has some relative strengths. When it comes to reading comprehension tasks the student tends to perform relatively well when given the ability to look back at the text to review questions he or she got wrong.
