Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen plays the role of the cannibalistic serial killer, often referred to as the Chesapeake Ripper. Mikkelsen claims he used Lucifer, the fallen angel, as inspiration for the role. He wanted to convey an affinity for humanity and a love for the human condition simultaneously as he could be punitive in a hellish way. This is fitting as the name Hannibal could mean, “ba’al is my lord”. Ba’al is Hebrew and means Beelzebub, or Satan.
The character Hannibal Lecter is often perceived as a courteous and well mannered. He works as a psychiatrist and he is a former surgeon, a skill that seems to have helped him tremendously in his career as a serial killer. Hannibal lives a luxurious life, something his taste in food and his choice of clothes conveys. He throws grandiose dinner parties and his love for expensive wine is what gets him caught later in the series. Lecter is also known for wearing elegant suits and as some viewers have pointed out, he wears a watch worth close to 180 000$. He certainly has a taste for the good

You could see that because, in the beginning he was scared to kill a pig, then in the middle he slaughtered a pig not even caring about the meat, and with no hesitation and at the end, they killed Simon and tried to hunt down and murder Ralph. In the beginning of the book jack was not a murderer because he was hesitating to kill a pig for food, even though he was, hungry he didn't kill because he is scared of the kill.
