If the time request is approved, and as a common practiced, the supervisor will put me back on the schedule prior the day I was supposed to be off. Typically, when this occurs, I tried to communicate by sending an email informing me them that I was already given time off and that I should not have been on the schedule, and not surprisingly, I may not get a reply after a few days. Then, if did not show up to for work, management would attempt to write me up, or perhaps throw me under the bus if in order to get me terminated.
