Teenagers today barely leave their room as it is, but what if they were told that they could receive a college degree from the comfort of their own bed? As a student graduates high school, he or she has the option to either further his or her education or go into the work industry. If one chose to proceed to college, he or she could live the campus life or partake in online classes. Most people would choose to take classes on campus because they are sociable and enjoy interacting with others. However, some people would rather take online classes as an alternative because they are antisocial, have no transportation, or work a full time job.

According to Mark, “Colleges also have emphasized the creation of fully online degree programs, and 62 percent of the schools surveyed now award degrees entirely through distance education”. They are able to either choose to enter the campus life and begin connecting with others, or they can participate in the online classes. If a student chooses to proceed through the campus lifestyle, he or she could possibly get behind or distracted by other students. Although if students wanted to take the advantage of online classes, they would be able to do their work at their own pace and without any distractions.
