The Deadline Magazine Project taught me many things about the “real world,” such as how people evaluate magazines and the many parts that magazine editors have to go through to complete their magazine. I didn’t realize how many parts there were to a magazine and I thought that it was fun to be able to make my own design for my titles, cover, and ads. When we had to judge the magazines and vote for who’s was best, I tried not to just vote for my friends and I judged a lot of them by the covers. Some covers weren’t well organized or looked like they had been done at the last minute. I noticed many people just voting for their friends or by how the cover looked and if I were to write another magazine, I would probably keep that in mind. A few
