The real world project comparing to ways after graduating high school. It’s comparing whether one gets a college education or doesn’t. It helps one visualize your future career. To map out our path way. The point was to show the cost of college and the importance of going to college. From a young age I was always told that the best job in life is to become a dentist or a doctor. At first in the beginning of the project I originally choose an orthodontist but then I realized the amount of school you need is 11 years while a dentist only takes 8. I thought the 3 years really made a difference. Though an orthodontist does make more money than a dentist it isn’t worth three more years of college. The biggest reason why I choose a dentist is because of that green. The amount of money you make as a dentist per year is enough to live a grand life. I also think being a dentist would be easy, going from what my dentist does he just checks teeth and cleans them, and he looks like he enjoys his job and makes that easy cash. The reason why I choose the University Of Washington is because it’s a college in my city so I get the price advantage also the University of washington also is one of the best graduate colleges to go if you want to become a dentist. In addition go DAWGS!, a lot of my family attends the University of Washington and I want to join them. The average salary for a dentist is $88,400, I found this by research this number is the rate for my equation. For my undergraduate the cost for 1 year of college is $19,279, and I have to take 4 years of college to get my bachelor’s degree so I take 19,279 and multiply by 4 to get 77,116. That is the cost to get my bachelors degree. After is graduate …show more content…

These might affect my equation because this will make the cost of college less and you can’t calculate these because you don’t know how many scholarships you will get. In additon what if the college you choose didn’t accept you this is one many factors that makes this project unrealistic. As a overachieving student I will try to get as many scholarships as I can get. In addition to getting a part time job that will factor in the amount of money you make. In addition if you will get hired or not. It’s not realistic to think you can get that job so easily just by going to college for 8 years, college is one of the most difficult stages of your life. In my class, I see all these students aspiring to become lawyers, not to be negative but to become a lawyer it’s really hard work and you have to become a really good scholar. In the real world, it’s hard but to anyone has the ability to accomplish anything they want the just have to put in the
