The events that occur off of informational texts have been proven either by someone who experienced the particular event or received information from a trusted source. In The Real Story of Revere's Ride the author included the true event with facts. For example in the text it states “ After delivering his message, Revere was joined by a second rider, William Dawes, who had been sent on the errand by a different route. Deciding on their own to continue on to Concord, Massachusetts, where weapons and supplies were hidden Revere and Dawes were joined by a third rider, Dr. Samuel Prescott.
