Introduction The University of Northern Iowa’s radio station, 94.5 KULT, offers a variety of incredible opportunities to students. Unfortunately, not only do these opportunities often go unnoticed, but many times students are right next to the station without even realizing it. In other words, a large majority of UNI students don’t know what KULT is or how it can benefit them. To remedy this, we have decided to create a media campaign which will help the radio station raise awareness, thereby reaching a wider audience and increasing student involvement. In the following pages, we will discuss why a media campaign is appropriate at this point in time, the specific goals of our campaign, and who our specific audience is. We will also cover how our campaign will establish identity and credibility, discuss theories which agree with our goals, and create a timeline for when each goal should be put into action.
