The documentary, The Race to Nowhere, was very relatable for me. High school was incredibly stressful; I can relate with almost all of the students who spoke in the documentary. I worked 30 hours a week after school, I was in the marching band, and I was taking two advanced placement classes my junior year. The workload took effect on all areas of my life. Every class was focused on standardized testing. My school had assemblies all of the time that encouraged us to do well on them. I don’t feel as though I learned anything. The public school that I went to was majorly flawed. There were three distinct groups of students.
