The pursuit of happiness is one of the unalienable rights stated in the Declaration of Independence. Everyone has the right to build their own life and achieve their happiness. Happiness for every single person has a different meaning and it’s due to something. Henry David Thoreau, Andrew Carnegie and Adam Smith all found their happiness in different things. In my quest my I incorporate the ideas from Henry David Thoreau and Andrew Carnegie. My idea of happiness is to be in peace with yourself. Henry David Thoreau believed that simplicity and living alone is the key to happiness. I believe that is one piece of my happiness.
