The pursuit of a college education is encouraged for all students. However, the true accomplishment arrives when a student obtains a college degree and a career through honest work. The importance of a college degree is falsely deemed ephemeral, but career opportunities are constantly opening up in which a college degree is required. I should not allow such an endeavor of achieving a college degree stand between me and my goals. My current career and educational goals are to earn a bachelor of science in software engineering as well as become employed by a major information technology company.
