Observing preschool children was enjoyable. They are playful, talkative, energetic, and independent. Since I am done with my internship last year, I asked my sister to refer me to her friend’s son who is a preschooler. For the purposes of confidentiality, I changed the name of the child to Adam throughout this assignment. On December 2009, Adam was born in Richmond, and soon he will turn 6-years. Adam’s mother told me that he had been a healthy baby with normal developmental milestones. He lives with his parents and his 2-year-old sister. Adam’s parents are Mexican- Americans.
