Knowledge is an inescapable curse that tricks individuals into believing that a wise man is a perfect man. This curse later reveals itself in the form of education and can never be eradicated no matter how severe it becomes. In addition to having a curse that only affects humans, humans also go through a struggle more difficult than living for the sake of being alive. The struggles in life for humans and animals are the same but after a certain point branch out. Humans struggle everyday whether it be to pass a class or to get up early in the morning for work. There is never a day where a human dreads going through the same routine of human survival though, nonetheless push forward. For example, if a human led a cat’s life he or she would starve to death, become homeless, and would smell. In order to obtain the necessities he or she needs they need money, and the only way to get money is to work for it. Whereas a cat can hunt for their food, sleep anywhere and will not have a single problem if it smells horrid. A human can not live the life a cat does because hunting a wild animal can lead to many diseases if consumed. Being homeless can lead to other diseases and is dangerous because he or she do not have shelter to protect them. Finally, a human with an unpleasant smell will not be taken seriously by society and will be outcasted. Humans are stuck in a capitalist system where he or she struggles to get money to feed and clothe themselves while still having to afford shelter. Without moving forward people would still be prejudice and not accepting new values of the new generations to come. Every path is curved differently, but the direction is always the same because forward is the only direction for humans. Humans do not have the luxury to dwell on the past. An example of this is a woman named Cheryl Strayed who kept the love she had for her husband even after her divorce. Every night she tormented with her actions which lead to the divorce. She was stuck in the past for years thinking that she would never love another man again. Until one day she decided it was time for her to let his memory go and move on with her life. When she did that she felt like a weight had been removed from her shoulders, and finally had the strength to move forward with her life. Leading Strayed to later on getting remarried with another man. Unlike an Ocean quahog clam that lives up to 405 years humans are not expected to live more than 100 years. Though, a human who looks to his or her past to relive it is a flawed human who will amount to nothing because he or she is stuck in that moment. A human focusing on one event for the rest of his or her life is an unhealthy outlook. There is more to life than just that moment and the only action left is to reflect and move
