In my senior year at high school, I was selected to represent my school to travel and study in the United States. I first went to Monterey, California, as a Nacel Open Door exchange student representing both my school and Indonesia. I successfully graduated from Monterey High School in 2003 with a GPA of 4.25. I then enrolled in Monterey Peninsula College (MPC), where I pursued my university studies with emphasis in political science and history. I also worked as a tutor in several political science and history courses, including courses on Comparative Politics and American Politics, as well as several history courses which include the History of the United States, the Middle East, and Western Europe. In consonance with my studies, I co-established Young Democrats Club at Monterey Peninsula College, and served as vice-president for two years, where I organized several public and political speeches,
