The Punishment In 'That's Gay'

I was in a particular punishment when I was younger that was unjust in my eyes. I made a statement around a friend who took offense to what I said. Therefore, after I said it he went a told the superintendent what I had said. What I had said was, "That's gay". The reason he got offended by me saying that is he felt like I was calling him gay about something, but he misunderstood me. I was using the phrase, that's gay in the form of saying that sucks. I don't remember what he was talking about at that moment is time but if I would have just said that sucks, I would not have received a pointless in school suspension. Unfortunately, we become comfortable around our friends and say things that we did not know could offend them. The unjust part
