The Protagonist In A Brinkle In Time

Decent Essays
There are antagonists in different stories ,but there are usually just one. There is commonly a few protagonist in each story. Some antagonists are the wicked witch of the west, the evil queen, and Voldemort from harry potter. Out of all the antagonists in all stories and movies I think the joker batman's enemy is the most cruel adversary. I imagine the joker being very sneaky and atrocious to citizens. The joker is the finest antagonist I have appreciated in all my days. The coolest part about him is that he fell in a vat of chemicals in a factory where he was doing crime and went outside to clean up and rendered insane. This happened before his wife and unborn child died in a car crash. He started to become a thief for a caring reason and that was to make easy money to support is pregnant wife. These facts support my own opinion that the Joker is the most evilest crazy villain i’ve known. …show more content…
The first thing he did was steal money to help his pregnant wife. The joker made a mistake to join that crook group because he couldn’t go back. Another bad thing was that he was trying to fight the batman and murder him. These are some really bad things he has done that are facts. The antagonist in “ A Wrinkle In Time is The Man With Red Eyes. He is similar to the Joker because they both are evil antagonistic in their stories. I still believe that the Joker is most evilest villain of all time ,even after reading about The Man With Red Eyes. The Man With Red Eyes is not as cool and evil as the Joker. The way the Joker became a villain is more epic than how The Man With Red Eyes became a villalon. The Man With Red Eyes turned against his friend ,but the Joker fell into chemicals that created him

Alfred Pennysworth, butler of Batman once said “some men just want to watch the world burn” in reference to Batman’s villain, the Joker. A similarly destructive attitude is festered in the antagonist; Iago of Shakespeare’s play Othello. Iago is motivated by an undeserved hate toward the protagonist, Othello, which leads to chaos and sparks a classic Shakespearean tragedy. Throughout the play, Iago allows jealous suspicion and anger to fuel a hate for the Othello.…

The protagonist in my novel is the time traveler himself. I feel he is the protagonist because he drives the action. If it wasn’t for the Time Traveler than the novel wouldn’t have as much action. Example is when the Time Traveler goes in to time and meets the morlocks and he has to go underground to retrieve The Time Machine because the morlocks took it. I feel that The Time Traveler is a believable character.…

We often focus more on the protagonist of stories, but what about the antagonist? Reading all three of the short stories Where Have You Been by Joyce Carol Oates, A Good Man is Hard to Find by Flannery O’Connor, and A Rose for Emily by William Faulkner, they all expand the idea of the “bad guy.” The antagonists are the ones that truly develop the situation of stories, because without them there wouldn't be a conflict, or a story in general... At least not an interesting one to say the most.…

Villains are an interesting bunch in that the same person can be seen as both minor/major, or helpful/dangerous. I guess the same could be said about heroes though. Chuck Klosterman, a best selling author, wrote an essay titled “Electric Funeral,” a chapter of I Wear the Black Hat: Grappling with Villains (Real and Imagined), which details villains of today-different types of technocrats. The three “villains” he mainly focuses on are Perez Hilton, Kim Dotcom, and Julian Assange, who each vary greatly on the spectrum of their acts. Hilton is a blogger who likes to post photoshopped pictures and articles, Dotcom created Megaupload, a website to post copyrighted material illegally, and Assange is the head creator of WikiLeaks.…
