What is the act that people from all around the globe share? They share the act of eating, most importantly eating meat in all its forms whether it be beef, pork, poultry, seafood, and more less common ones depending on the geographic area. This may give some people heart attacks or cause even a few to faint from the shock, but there are people gracing this earth who don’t enjoy or have interest in the act of eating meat at all. Their mouths don’t start salivating when they see a barbeque rib; they do it when they see a veggie burger. Human beings who don’t eat meat are called several things; for example, they are named as herbivores, “veggie people”, plant eaters, vegans, and vegetarians. The reasons for people deciding to become a vegetarian are abundant. For whatever reason, it may be for them individually, one reason why some people chose this diet route is for the betterment of their overall health. Vegetarians get more than enough vitamins, fiber, and minerals, and with a good planned outlined diet of non-meat foods high in plant protein, the vegetarian shouldn’t be lacking in overall health. They should and would be getting adequate amounts of Calcium, Vitamin D, Vitamin A, Vitamin B-12, Vitamin C, and much more vitamins and minerals that are …show more content…
Some choose this way of life for health, animals rights, or just wanting to do something different in their life. Whatever the reason may be, being a vegetarian has it perks when it comes to one’s health. The reductions of obesity, cancers, diseases, and the longevity of life are some astounding benefits to being a vegetarian. This isn’t a paper persuading anyone to become a vegetarian to live longer and have better health. It to inform you of the benefits that just so happen to be an effect of being one.
